Quick rule of thumb

  • 1 group: kiosk or small café under ~80 cups/day.
  • 2 groups: most mid-size cafés at 100–250 cups/day.
  • 3 groups: high throughput or overlapping barista shifts.

Factor in barista count

Three groups with one barista means idle heads. Plan equipment with labour roster, not in isolation.

Power and footprint

Each extra group raises heat load and power draw and needs drainage and ventilation. Measure the counter before you order.
